Good Morning

VII. Sort out the following storage media by descending order capacity.
DVD-CD-Floppy disk

VIII. Fill in the blanks.
1.A computer is a structure based on Hardware and software. This structure enables several computers communication,

2. A computer network is called LAN (local area network), if it is established on one floor. On the other hand, it is called WAN (wide area network) if it extends over several buildings to cover Village or even a country.

3.A computer network makes it possible to:
•Share information
•Use resources
•Connected to Internet

4.Memory plays main role of saving information in computers.

5.The Random Access Memory RAM saves the document as long as it is displayed on the screen.

6.The Backup Function consists in copying valuable information (picture, document and movies) from your hard disk onto another storage medium, for security reasons.

7.If the computer has stopped functioning problem and you are unable to read your information the copy on the CD will make it possible to recover the lost data.

8.As a general principle, it is preferable to regularly make a copy of documents and picture, once the work on the computer is finished.

9.The Backup is made on a Floppy disk, a CD, a DVD, a hard disk or a flash memory.

10.1024 Bytes=1 Kilobyte

11.1024 Kilobytes=1 Megabyte

12.1024 Megabytes=1 Gigabyte
