| • The human brain is like a powerful computer that stores our memory and controls how we as humans think and react. It has evolved over time and features some incredibly intricate parts that scientists still struggle to understand. • The brain is the center of the human nervous system, controlling our thoughts, movements, memories and decisions. • With evolution, the human brain has become more and more complicated, many of its interesting properties are still not well understood by scientists. • The brain contains billions of nerve cells that send and receive information around the body. • The human brain is over three times as big as the brain of other mammals that are of similar body size. • Each side of the brain interacts largely with just one half of the body, but for reasons that are not yet fully understood, the interaction is with opposite sides, the right side of the brain interacts with the left side of the body, and vice versa. • The largest part of the human brain is called the cerebrum. Other important parts include corpus callosum, cerebral cortex, thalamus, cerebellum, hypothalamus, hippocampus and brain stem. • The human brain is protected by the skull (cranium), a protective casing made up of 22 bones that are joined together. • The brain of an adult human weighs around 3 pounds (1.5 kg). Although it makes up just 2% of the body's weight, it uses around 20% of its energy. • The brain is suspended in Cerebrospinal fluid, effectively floating in liquid that acts as both a cushion to physical impact and a barrier to infections. • Diseases of the brain include Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. Diseases such as these can limit the normal function of the human brain. • Most strokes result from a blood clot in the brain that blocks the local blood supply, this causes the damage or destruction of nearby brain tissue and a wide range of stroke symptoms.

| Mr Mohamed el Nesr: Thanks for your nice comment on my article First there is of coarse a mis understanding here as the complexity that the article speaks about is in the structure of the brain not in its function, sir.but sure the brain cells are decreasing functionally by time as ELRASOL SAYS as for the new born baby brain is not much like the old man brain ,and by that the scientists found that there are some parts in the brain ( which are already found ) have been descovered recently by evaluation, these parts are not part of the progress of the brain but they are already found.,,they are only newly discovered second well, you said sir that the brain functions are decresing in its performance,,yes of coarse this is right and also the article says said in its proof that there are new diseases that start to affect the brain like ALZAHIEMER AND THE PARKINSONISM.,so the brain cells by the time are malfunctioning ( disabled by the time or by aging) ,,you know sir that every day we lose some of our brain cells that we cannot restore it once more ( THE BRAIN CELLS ARE NOT RE-NEWABLLE) but its anatomical structure is the one that is in progress ,,everyday there is a new part inside the brain is discovered. third from the islamic point of view the article is not contradicting with our strong beliefs,,but here really i found that it strengthen our believe that ALLAH is the great creator ever found,,these amazing data about our brain are really so immpressive,,that all of these parts and structures work altogether to do this great job which is the co-orrdination between every single part in our body and the other.. SUBAHAN ALLAH THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR NICE COMMENT HOPING TO SEE LIKE THIS RICH DISCUSSION ONCE MORE. T.SALLY. | |

| Thank you for your reply But again, In the original document, it was written: - Quote :
- With evolution, the human brain has become more and more complicated; many of its interesting properties are still not well understood by scientists.
In the last comment you wrote: - Quote :
- …and by that the scientists found that there are some parts in the brain ( which are already found ) have been discovered recently by evaluation, these parts are not part of the progress of the brain but they are already found.,,they are only newly discovered
I agree with your comment, but the original post may be mistyped, as Evolution is not evaluation and not discovery either. In science, evolution is an expression reflects only Darwin’s related theories, when scientists need to speak about new discoveries they use different words than “evolution”. Again, I agree with you, but not agreeing with the original post’s style. It was misunderstood that “ومازال الخلق ينقص” reflects diseases which lower the performance, but the actual meaning could be understood by reading the full Hadith: - Quote :
- …
This means than Allah “Sobhanah Wa Taala” created Adam, and made him to decrease in form normally, from decade to decade, till Adam’s sons reached their current form.Another two advices, please forgive me, as I only want charity for you and all the forum readers. 1. When we speak about Allah’s messenger “Mohammad” peace be upon him; it is not an option to write “peace be upon him” or at least “PBUH”. I think it was forgotten to be written in the second post. 2. When Islam tells us any piece of knowledge, it is called a “Fact”, not a “point of view”. Hence, it is correct to write: “The Islamic fact”, or “the Islamic reality”, or “the Islamic faith”, but not “Islamic point of view”. And remember, “ومن يعظم شعائر الله فإنها من تقوى القلوب”
Thank you too much
