| Dear Student Imagine this with me .. if you added water to , Sodium Chloride , which is ( table salt ) , Sodium Chloride will dissolve in water .
And to filter means :adding water to the mixture then add the mixture to a filter paper so materials that do not dissolve in water will remain in the filter paper . So sodium chloride will not remain in the filter paper , because it is already dissolved in water ,
So we can not use filtration to separate sodium chloride in water.
