miss sally i take it from the internet i remmeber the pituary gland (with out looking from the book now) its control the devalopment and growth andd it control other gland such as thr tests .ovaris and thyroid

well....

we all know that the flower is the organ in the plant system where fertilization takes place (the joining of the male sex cell[pollen] with the female sex cell [egg] to form a new plant [seed])

the pollen of the flower is produced by the stamen and the egg is produced at the bottom of the pistil ( look at the the diagram while reading)

so how the pollen can reach the egg at the bottom of the pistil to fertilize it?
first pollination must take place[ pollination is the transfer of the pollen from the stamen to the egg at the pistil of the same flower or of a different flower]

how pollination take place?

by insects (pollens are sticked to the body of the insect and transfered to the eggs of the same flower or of a different flower).
by winds
by another animal (also the pollens sticked to the animals body and being transfered)

so after pollination happened

when the pollen come in contact with the head of the pistil it forms what is called pollen tube thriugh its style (like a road for the pollen to pass through it)
then the pollen(the sperm male cell) moves through the tube down to the egg which are found inside the ovule at the bottom of the pistil where it is fertiliezed by the sperm cell.
when fertilization finished what happened?? the embryo is formed withen this ovule
then this ovule that contains the fertilizied egg becomes A SEED.
